II’ve been boxing and coaching for 11 years and personal fitness training since
1997. Enjoying both of these things in my life the next step was to combine
these two worlds. Now personal training at LifePlex, as well as boxing fitness, I
found a whole new demographic of clients, fitness buffs, and sometimes even
competitors. Boxing is not only a great sport, it’s an unbeatable workout.
Although boxing is normally associated with tuff men and hard blows to one’s
head and body, ‘boxing fitness’ has changed this image. Boxing is now for
everyone , men, women, and children.
Boxing technique and training can get anyone fit, toned, and in fighting shape.
Even if you never step into a ring, practicing the fundamentals of boxing can
give you an excellent full body workout that gets your legs and arms moving
and your heart pumping. Boxing will also improve your stamina, help get your
reflexes razor sharp,work on your hand eye coordination and improve balance.
Combine all of these elements along with a sensible diet will help you burn off
calories. Because of this...practicing boxing works well in cross training for all
other sports, such as; tennis, basketball, football, martial arts, etc.
