Swim lessons are 30 minutes and come in packages of 5. |
Children under 12 are not permitted in the member locker
rooms at any time. They must use family locker rooms located
in Funxions.
Parents And Students: |
1. |
The number of persons permitted in the pool area is regulated by the Health |
Dept. The capacity of this facility is posted and admission will be limited to same. |
2. |
Proper swimming attire required at all times. Cut off or rolled up pants are not |
permitted for swimming. |
3. |
The club reserves the right to close the pool for cause (i.e. equipment failure, |
utility failure, etc.) In the event of facility closure, all persons will be asked to leave the
pool area. |
4. |
DIVING is NOT permitted anywhere, except under supervision of an instructor |
/ coach. |
5. |
Health Department rules for sanitation and safety must be observed by every |
patron. It is mandatory that infants are in swim diapers and accompanied by a parent /
guardian. . Persons with physical disorders such as skin lesions, inflamed eyes, nose,
mouth, or ear discharges or bandages, may not swim or use spa. Spitting or other
discharges into pool prohibited. |

Alcoholic beverages prohibited in pool area. |
7. |
Smoking is not permitted in any area. |
8. |
Food is restricted to café / lounge area of the club. |
9. |
Pets are not permitted in any area of the club. |
10. |
No glass containers of any kind permitted in pool, on decks or in locker areas. |
Approved competitive swim goggles are recommended. Corrective lenses may be
attached to approved swim goggles at a very reasonable cost by most opticians. |

The following are not permitted in swimming pool areas: ball playing (exception: |
supervised water polo, etc.) pushing, dunking, running or boisterous conduct, toys, play
devices, disruptive behavior. |

LAP LANES are for CONTINUOUS DISTANCE SWIMMERS ONLY. Traffic |
should flow much like driving a car; stay to the right, and swim in line. Pass on the left,
and fall back into line. Swim in lane designated for your ability / speed. Be
COURTEOUS to other lap swimmers. |
13. |
All children must be accompanied by an adult who will assume full |
responsibility for the child’s safety. Children will only be admitted during special
events, such as instructional classes, parties and family swims. NO ENTRY TO CLUB
LOCKER ROOMS PERMITTED! |

The cost of lessons is reduced for members and their families, and the rates are posted in
the enclosed bulletin board in the pool, along with Aqua Aerobic schedules, articles of
interest to improve your workouts, and general information. If you require further information,
or have any questions about our aquatic programs, please contact our Aquatic Director,
Marty Silverberg. Marty has over 51 years experience within the aquatic industry. His
experience includes coaching, instruction, lifeguard training and all aspects of facility
management. Marty recently retired from the town of Clarkstown where he ran the public
pools for 29 years. He has taught more than 10,000 people the art of swimming. |
The class size will be limited to five swimmers per group. |

face in water), and aged (6+) grouped |
